Consider this journal a safe place to capture your thoughts and be your most vulnerable self. With every page, I invite you to slow down, take a deep breath, and pour out your heart and soul through the words you write down.

The djembe drum originates from West Africa. Its name is drawn from the Bambara saying 'Anke djé, anke bé', which means everyone gather together in peace. It was traditionally used by the griot, the community storyteller, to keep history alive through spoken word. I created this journal in that same spirit. A place to gather your thoughts... to tell your story.
